An established neighborhood of traditional brick homes, condominiums, and townhomes, Windsor Park sits on the historic Hezekiah Alexander Farm in East Charlotte. The original Alexander home site, the oldest home in Mecklenburg County and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, still sits on Shamrock Drive.

The Windsor Park neighborhood is in close proximity to Darby Acres, Central Park, Robinhood Woods, Markham Village, Windsor Forest, and Nettlewood Acres neighborhoods and has a population just under 12,000. The neighborhood is bordered by Foxford Place to the north, North Sharon Amity Road to the east, Central Avenue at the south end, and Eastway Drive on the west.
