Real Estate and Living in Charlotte's Cotswold

If you appreciate classic construction and the charms that only an older neighborhood can provide, then Charlotte's Cotswold may be just the place! Because most of it was developed in the 1950s and 1960s, this downtown gem is full of unique architectural choices, including hard to find split-levels, single-story ranches and mid-century moderns. Of course, over the years, a variety of residential choices have also been added, including larger homes, condos and custom builds. Tree-lined streets, pocket parks and mindful landscaping truly make Cotswold one of Uptown's hottest destinations for house hunters.

Cotswold is centrally located and just minutes away from the Queen City's bustling city center. In addition to being close to all of downtown's amazing shops, restaurants and funky nightlife options, the neighborhood is also built around the Cotswold Village Shops. That feature allows Cotswold residents unlimited access to everything they could possibly need, including a grocery store, medical facilities, banks, eateries, retail shops and more. Even though it was developed decades ago, that aspect practically puts it on par with many of today's master planned communities, but without the hefty price tag and steep HOA dues!

Cotswold is also unique for its eclectic blend of diverse residents, who span all ages and backgrounds. From retired professionals to recent college grads, artistic types and young families, this community is close-knit and interesting! Cotswold Elementary, Eastover Elementary, Alex Graham Middle, Randolph Middle and Myers Park Highare some of the outstanding public schools that serve this area.

This is one of our favorite Queen City spots in which to show property, so if you've found your Cotswold dream home, please let us know!
